Our Story

Hey, it’s Joey and Danica! A lot of people ask us how we got started doing Party Portraits and it’s actually an interesting story… We both grew up in Tampa Bay doing all different types art, from painting, to fashion design, drawing cartoons, t-shirt printing, graphic design and more. 

While we were always passionate about our art we also worked as bartenders for years. During Covid, however, it was extremely slow working in the service industry, and so to pass the time we started creating portraits of our regulars for their amusement. It quickly caught on and led to people asking us to attend their special occasions. It was our very first wedding event that we realized the impact these portraits could have. 

It clicked for us the moment we handed the grandmother of the groom a portrait of her and her grandson. Through tear-filled eyes she told us that she didn’t get to see him as much anymore after his deployment in the military. Seeing how much this meant to her, we realized right then that a photograph can capture a moment, but a portrait can touch on something much deeper. 

It is now our joy and privilege to be able to share these special moments in life with you and your loved ones. We are sincerely grateful to be a part of your celebration!
